This is grisu; a rare former german firetruck 4x4 converted 1984 lwb, high top ford transit l. Drive away with 10 month mot and road tax. I had it for 4 years but i am now in need of something different. I am very sad to let it go but life needs change. It has a 1995 raging turbo diesel 2.5 tdi engine (with unbreakable bosh manual pump) and 70.000 miles with 5 speed 1997 gearbox fitted.
Good bits: robust dana 4x4 axels with transfer box and freewheels hubs, it has virtually no rust, first starter, reconditioned clutch, new engine supports, new battery, newish radiator, 1 year cambelt, good 4 tyres + 2 ok ones. Tow bar with mot compliant electrics. Adjustable sensitivity power steering. Raised up leaf springs. Newer pilot seat (and original stored).
Not too good bits: it would do with springs reset. 4x4 low gears pivot need fixing. It can be sold as campervan with sink, cooker and boot, with fitted, 2nd leisure (high cranking) battery with charging relay; as seen or stripped down to bare panels.
