I've had this since 2007, purchased from SAAB, and really loved it. Around 190k. The gearbox was rebuilt in 2018. Some hesitance at full throttle/full boost at speed, eg accelerating to overtake on the motorway. A small amount of rust on one wheel arch and the usual bonnet chips.
Two sets of alloys: originals (not shown) have winter tyres fitted, newer ones (in photos) have some good summer tyres.
Sadly, failed its MoT on various minor things and some welding needed, collectively around £800 to repair incl labour. Some parts are apparently unavailable (e.g. headlight leveller, radiator, etc).
A few other issues are present. These include:
- Error code 13 on climate control
- SID is very difficult to read now
- Odd intermittent electrical issues (radio switching to CD randomly, interior lights not coming on with doors, seat belt warning not going off, alarm going off randomly, etc.)
-wine stain in the rear passenger footwell.
