Description
The engine failed on the motorway on Christmas Eve. The RAC inspected the water pump, belts, and for oil leaks but couldn't identify the issue (the pumps turned manually). It might be a power steering failure 🤷🏼‍♀️ as it was causing excessive battery drain (lights dimmed when turning to full lock), but I’m not certain. The engine won’t restart due to something being seized.
Prior to this, the car was running perfectly, covering 300 motorway miles weekly without any issues for the past two years.
